The call for papers is now open for the 2026 UK Microsystems Symposium, taking place at Homerton College, University of Cambridge, on 6 and 7 July 2026.
This year’s theme, Emerging Trends and Developments in Microsystems, will highlight the latest advances across the field and bring together researchers, industry, facility providers, and emerging talent from across the UK microsystems community.
We welcome submissions from across all areas of microsystems research and particularly encourage papers in areas such as organ on a chip and microphysiological systems, AI integrated MEMS and sensors, flexible and stretchable microsystems, implantable microsystems, bio-hybrid microsystems, quantum and optomechanical MEMS, digital microfluidics, microsystems for environmental applications, advanced fabrication and new materials, and acoustofluidics.
This is an excellent opportunity to share your latest work, engage with the wider community, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of microsystems research. Selected papers will also be invited for submission to a special journal issue.
Deadline for submission: 1 May 2026
Notification of acceptance: 29 May 2026
